Online Yoga Class Guidelines

Dear Participants,
I am thrilled to have you join our Yoga classes. This comprehensive guide will provide you with essential information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Please read the following guidelines carefully before attending the online sessions.

Preparation

1. Eating:
- Avoid eating within 4 hours prior to the Yoga class. If needed, have a light snack at least 2 hours before.
- Avoid heavy or greasy foods that may cause discomfort during the practice.

2. Cleanliness:
- Take a refreshing shower or bath before the workshop.
- Wear clean, comfortable clothing that allows for unrestricted movement.

3. Equipment:
- Yoga mat: Use a non-slip mat for stability and support.
- If a yoga mat is not available, alternative options such as a blanket or rug can be used.
- Props (optional): Blocks, straps, or blankets may be useful for modifications but are not essential for this class.

4. Water Bottle:
- Keep a water bottle for hydration during the Yoga class. In case of unavailability, keep a glass of water.

5. Towel or Handkerchief:
- Keep a towel or handkerchief for personal use during the Yoga session with you.

Precautions

1. Health considerations:
- Consult your healthcare provider if you have any underlying health conditions, injuries, or are pregnant.
- Modify the practice as needed to prevent any potential harm.

2. Comfortable pace:
- Practice at your own pace, honoring your body's limitations.
- Take breaks whenever necessary and avoid pushing beyond your comfort zone.

3. Hydration Guidelines:
- Avoid consuming excessive amounts of water during the Yoga session. If necessary, drink small sips of water, around 2-3 sips.

Do's and Don'ts:

1. Do:
- Respect others and create a supportive environment.
- Stay hydrated by having a water bottle nearby if required.
- If you are experiencing dizziness or an excessively rapid heartbeat, please stop, take a rest, and inform me.
- Communicate with me if you have questions or concerns.

2. Don't:
- Overexert yourself; listen to your body's signals.
- Record or share the sessions without prior consent.

Rules and Discipline:

1. Punctuality:
- Join the online session a few minutes before the scheduled start time.

2. Attentiveness:
- Minimize distractions by turning off or silencing electronic devices.

3. Dress code:
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement.

4. Uninterrupted Focus:
- Kindly inform your household members not to disturb you for one hour.
- Complete focus is required during the class, and engaging in any unwanted activities may lead to removal from the session.

5. Arrival Time and Admittance:
- Please ensure to join the session 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. Kindly note after that no further admissions will be permitted.

Online Class Issues and Suggestions

1. Internet connection:
- Ensure a stable internet connection for uninterrupted sessions.

2. Camera and microphone:
- We encourage having your camera on for personalized guidance.
- Inform me if you prefer to keep your camera off.

3. Quiet and dedicated space:
- Choose a quiet, well-lit space where you can practice without distractions.

After the Class

- Take time for rest and relaxation.
- Hydrate your body by drinking plenty of water after 30 minutes.
- Reflect on your practice and integrate its benefits into your daily life.
- You can take a light meal after 40-60 minutes after the session.
